Great Gem of a restaurant! We had a last minute rush to find a restaurant that stayed open later than 6:00 after spending the day in New Town and Cape Island beaches. The Hub is open till 8:00 every night! We had squid rings, cod tongues, cod bites, fish and chips, fish cakes, mussels and they were all perfect prepared perfectly and were delicious . The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I can’t recommend this place enough, we’ll be back!!!

We decided to try this restaurant for supper yesterday evening...I am almost due to have my baby and have been dying for a good feed of fish and chips. Well boy did they deliver!!! I have lived here for 16 years, and it was by far the best fish I have had since I've lived here! Myself, my fiance and my inlaws all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the women working there were absolutely lovely, and we will definitely be back!!!

We stayed in one of the suites here for a night, it was absolutely beautiful. Deck with a BBQ, big kitchen and living area, separate bedroom, HUGE bathroom with washer and dryer and a free standing tub. Very nicely decorated, and we were able to text with the owner for anything we needed. If you are staying in the area, I highly recommend this place!

Had a reservation at the blue mist hotel in badgers quay but upon arrival they told me they gave my room to someone else. Fine people at the hub of the north saved the day. Beautiful spot. Beautiful view.

I have been travelling around Newfoundland for 4 weeks and this has been my favorite restaurant by far. The authentic food, beer, dessert and the friendly service and conversation are amazing. I've been traveling alone with my two dogs so it's was really nice to have some conversation with the ladies here. NOTE - I got a second dessert to go and my dog stepped on the container on the van before I took the picture. Lol
